Józef Siwiec
President of the Management Board, Managing Director
Higher education, master of science in chemistry. Graduate of the Gliwice Vocational Technical High School for Ceramics and the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics of AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, as well as postgraduate studies in the domain of thermal engineering. Mr Siwiec has been involved with Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” S.A. since 1979. He worked as a technologist, production foreman, production department manager, production and trade director, managing director. In the years 1992-2000 he was a member of the Company’s management board, and since 2000 he has been holding the position of the President of the Management Board.
Renata Czapka
Vice-president of the Management Board for Development
Higher education, master's degree in chemical engineering. She graduated from the Stanislaw Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Ceramics. Since 1997, she has been professionally connected with Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” S.A., as a technologist and specialist in refractory materials, responsible, among other things, for developing and implementing new technologies. Since January 2018, she has held the position of Marketing Director. Her tasks include the development of activities in the field of technical consulting related to the application of refractory ceramics at customers, as well as the coordination of cooperation between the sales, technology and logistics departments. She is the winner of the title “Employee of the Year” in the ‘Initiator’ category in the national competition of the Business Centre Club (2019) and was awarded the Medal of Honor “Meritorious for Export” by the President of the Association of Polish Exporters in 2024. She specializes in managing technical projects, optimizing material solutions and building sales strategies.
Leszek Piczak
Vice President of the Management Board - CFO
Higher education, doctor of economic sciences. Graduate of Maria Curie- Sklodowska University in Lublin and postgraduate studies with a managerial focus. Specialist in enterprise economics and economic calculation. Since 1995 he has been professionally connected with Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” S.A., among others as an Independent Economist, and then as a Chief Specialist in the field of investments and owner supervision. Since April 2009, she has served as Director of the Management Office, and since June 2019 she has additionally been responsible in the Company for the compliance area. He has many years of experience serving on the supervisory boards of capital companies. Since July 2019, he has served as Chairman of the Board of the Magnezyty Foundation established by Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” S.A. and members of the Company's Management Board. Author and co-author of scientific articles, business plans and strategic plans for many companies. Lecturer at postgraduate studies in the field of corporate finance and accounting.
Jerzy Gdula
Vice-President of the Management Board for Commercial
Master of Economics - Maria Curie-Skłodowska University of Lublin (Rzeszów branch), Management and Marketing. Completed post-graduate studies at Warsaw school of Economics in the field of Goodwill Management as well as University of Science and Technology in Kraków in the field of Business Management. He prides himself in having almost 20 year proven track record in sales, including 15 year experience in Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” S.A . Advanced speaker of English and German language and elementary user of Russian. He has gone through all ranks in our company. He embarked on a career as an independent economist then became an independent export sales officer and an export sales specialist, later on was promoted to a position of a project manager , a sales manager and a deputy sales director. Since 2013 held a position of a sales director and on the 1st of March 2021 was appointed a Vice-President of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs.
